Asda is opening in Lancing this August with a £800,000 new store on South Street.
The new store is set to open mid-August and will be the first time Asda has opened its doors in Lancing. The supermarket recently won The Grocer’s Lowest Priced Supermarket Award for an astonishing twelfth year in a row, meaning customers at the new store will benefit from Asda’s great value and customer service.
Colleagues working at the new store will join Asda from the previous retailer at the premises, meaning they will get to share in Asda’s benefits, flexible working options, career development and yearly colleague bonus, which this year saw £43 million shared between its employees.
The new 11,500 square feet store will offer shoppers a place to do a full weekly shop and enjoy prices which will save customers money every day.
New Store Manager, Jason Howell, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Asda to Lancing and we hope that customers will respond positively to the new store. Asda Lancing will be a friendly, community based store and we hope the store will give a real boost to Lancing’s retail economy.”
Jason added: “Our Lancing store will offer a great range and will be priced exactly the same as all our other Asda stores, meaning customers will benefit from the Asda prices which last month saw us win Britain’s Lowest Priced Supermarket for the twelfth year in the row.”
